Digital Marketing Carve Out

A large Private Equity firm needed operating executive services to manage a very complicated carve out from IBM Whatson Marketing Cloud. Services included cloud/hosting move with new Dev Ops process to AWS, standing entire new corporate application infrastructure (SFA, CRM, ERP, FP&A, etc.) and India support center. 

Solution:

Implemented cloud migration plan with elastic platform to reduce costs. Develop in-sourcing resource strategy to move away from a myriad of large consulting resources. Dev-Ops automation program installed to reduce production outages and decrease costs.

Results:

  • Migrated IBM data centers to AWS, reducing annual costs by $44M and improving throughput 5x. Ovall reduced cloud and dev ops expense by $100M. 

  • Opened new operations in Australia and India, boosting APAC presence.

  • Reduced production incidents by 70%.

  • Implemented best-of-breed SaaS back-office platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, etc.).

Pharmacy Software Industry Consolidation

Saoi Technology partnered with the PE firm and company founder to develop a product consolidation strategy with rapid transition plan. Saoi Tech led the synergy efforts with Backoffice consolidation and business application optimization.

Solution:
Saoi Technology partnered with the fund to modernize their data pipeline, integrate new alternative data sources, and deploy a high-performance storage and compute solution tailored to real-time analysis.

Results:

  • Led five HC Tech acquisitions, managing the entire business life cycle from sales to product and back-office integration.

  • Dramatically expanded the number of clients by 3x and exceeded synergy and EBITDA goals.

M&A Integration

A PE firm’s investment thesis called for a series of strategic acquisitions to build a leading reputation management software platform across Europe and the U.S. The effort involved complex transactions, including a carve-out platform, and required navigating Europe’s challenging regulatory environment amid high M&A activity.

 

Solution:

Saoi-Tech established a Program Office to manage carve-out and integration workstreams, sourcing and onboarding specialized consulting partners in Europe and India to support the transition. The team also delivered solution architecture to redesign business processes and centralize key functions.

 

Results:

  • Integrated four acquisitions in under nine months.

  • Moved six different SFA, CRM, and ERP systems to on centralized system in eight months. 

  • Switched MSP provider to a more responsive and lower cost offshore solution.
